Neve, Health

Neve Morris is staying on at UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park Sixth Form before heading to university to pursue her dream of becoming a therapist in psychology.

She says she chose UTC because it “stood out and made me think I could achieve,” and since joining she’s realised that her results improve with the effort she puts in.

One of her proudest moments has been overcoming challenges in English Language, which became a subject she enjoyed thanks to the support of the right teacher.

Neve feels that UTC has given her a direct route towards her career interests, and she values the better resources that make learning both easier and more enjoyable. Her advice to Year 9 students is to “take Y9 and 10 seriously because it goes really quick.”

Looking ahead, Neve is focused on progressing to university, describing UTC as “comfortable – friendly” with a “good strict” atmosphere that helps students thrive.
